I’ve been working as a package handler for a couple months now and I always vape while I’m unloading trucks/cans. Yesterday a dude I work with told me he heard that if a supervisor sees you vape in a truck you get fired on the spot. Is this true ? I’ve never been caught by a supervisor but I always assumed it would be more like a “hey you can’t do that” not immediate termination the first offense

It will not be immediately termination but if your building has a no smoking/vaping policy then you will be disciplined.

Here in Iowa, the state passed a law where you can't smoke in any business except when you are gambling in the casino. We have signs in all our cars that tell us we can't smoke while driving as its a company vehicle.
