Uh I've never been paid time and a have for veterans day.

That sucks.

Here, Columbus Day and Veterans Day are the two working holidays.

Apparently I must define this for everyone.

This means a paid holiday that you work. And you get time and a half for working it plus 8 hours holiday pay.

Some minor holidays we work and it's straight time with no holiday pay.

You do a great job of being a smart ass, but do the same thing many others do, assume your contract is the same as everyone else's

Kid—I have more paid time in the restroom than you have on the job.

I know full well what a working holiday is.

Veterans Day is a day off in only a few locals.

Apparently you're not following me. I'm saying it's not a day off when it falls on a weekday and you're suggesting I'm saying it's a day off. It's on Saturday this year, however.

Funny thing is if the Saturday crew gets the paid holiday...most of them are new so they dont get it because they haven't hit a year yet.

Friday is the official day of observance. Meaning many people will have it off. I would assume UPS would pay us as such on Friday. This is the question which has yet been addressed.
