Works like this. Work 9.5 hrs at time and a half. Add 8 hours holiday. Straight rate almost $36/hr. = $800.
For those locals that get double time on days like Black Friday, it's about $950 for one day.

Columbus Day and Veterans Day has never been a paid Holiday in my Local. Just another working day with no Holiday pay. If you are a veteran you can request Veterans Day off if you ask enough time in advance but it is an unpaid day off. Where do you get this stuff?
