WAD may get you a suspension...

It takes practice to WAD correctly. The courier should have covered himself by sending dispatch a message stating he would be having p1 lates and needed help or by contacting his manager (via customer phone) and putting it back on them.

THIS.

Did the sort end on time as planned by DRA? If no, then the CRR should have alerted MGMT before leaving the building there may be a problem getting all P1 off. Did the CRR make his leave leave building/fine sort time? If no, then he has a problem.

And of course the CRR should have alerted that he would have 13 lates. Each station has some cutoff to ask for help. Ask and the onus is on MGMT to make the call. Don't ask for help or don't communicate you will have lates and there is little anyone can do to cover the CRR.

WAD also means CYA, as in covering yourself by notifying them that THEIR stupidity is going to cause the lates etc.

We had 15 extra minutes that day due to leave building late. He sent a txt to his manager, not sure about dispatch though. He did not receive an OLCC but he did get a letter.
