It’s literally a scam. Donate your time or money to something local, or a reputable charity of your choice. Feels a lot less scummy when your supervisors bonus doesn’t depend on it.

No, if they don’t get enough drivers to donate, they have to pony up out of their own pocket.

No bonus. Just one less thing to get yelled at for. “ How dare you aren’t able to achieve our goals to have people voluntarily donate their money to a cause they may not agree with” lol.
It is reviewed daily during the campaign-it gets old when you aren’t hitting the number.

Yep. Tell 'em you already donate directly and enjoy the show. It isn't all about what it should be all about.

A few years back we had an employee in our center that was in dire need of help. I contacted the United Way and they told me they could not help him. Never agin will I give to them.

Even those of us in the retired ranks get solicited from UPS for United Way. Letter comes every year in the mail.
