Average planned day at my center is 9.3 as of a couple weeks back according to the almighty center manager. We have some routes that have 1900 or later pick ups and some routes that almost always work 8-9 hours a day. Nothing is "static" so to speak, as there are always days and or weeks that they cram it on and everyone it seems works late. Staggered start times of 8:35 and 8:45 at my building, and around 45-50 routes dispatched a day.
Was told the other day at a safety meeting that their goal this peak is to keep numbers similar to now. I laughed out loud.
