What is the Union going to do when up to 30% are laid off in January?

Up to 30% of Union members will be laid off in January.
UPS is hemorrhaging cash.
The stock price is tanking.
What is the Union going to do?

What are they going to do.... about what ?

The freight industry starts laying off drivers in November.

Happens every year.

I don't think the Union is too concerned about not collecting dues from laid off part-time

employee's. Where do you come up with this "the sky is falling" assumption ?

The people that should be concerned.... are low-level management.

The option to work inside is always available so how can laid off workers collect unemployment? From my understanding as long as you can work no matter how few hours or less pay you’re ineligible to collect unemployment. My center manager blabs quite a lot and did let it drop that the axe was coming down on low level management and building managers in multi center hubs next year.

But is 30% of the workforce really going to be laid off in January? Because if that's the case, I guess UPS is going under, and we all need to brush up those resumes.

30%. Lol just imagine. 130,000 employees. Lol

wide load

Starting wage is a waste of time.

All causals and pt seasonals will go. They need to get us all at an 8.2 day remember.
