Seems to be no problem to get a permit for a gay pride parade...

If it involves San Fran it always comes down to a gay thing......probably the "don't ask, don't tell" policy of the military or something like that.

I've seen the "Silent Drill Platoon" during a halftime show at a football game recently. In the past, and unfortunatly, I've also seen a Gay Pride Parade on the news. I can't help but think that a Gay Pride Parade would be more harmfull to the public than the Marine's Silent Drill Platoon. It just doesn't make sense to me. I'll take the Marine's with their precise handling of their M1 Rifles over a parade of perverted sickos any day. The Silent Drill is actually pretty cool. I usually get up and stretch my legs and run for the restroom at half time but when I saw those guys throwing those rifles around like that without dropping them I couldn't help but watch.
