When people come on here crying the blues because we are on strike.

Yeah..it is about 50 years old. Everything is old and weathered it has a certain charm though...

The plumbing has been going south for a while, the driver's locker room was built just above the center manager's offices and occasionally the toilets would clog and leak waste water all over their desks. We do not know if anybody is going it on purpose, but I could tell you stories.

Like you said they did play music thru the intercom back in the "80's" and "90's" during the sorts, but too many musical tastes got involved, so to appease everybody they decided to end it...

Rest in peace wooba
Yall should read a book about business, you never take the first deal thrown at you, especially if you're in a position of power. Tony Q you an idiot for thinking yes, consider buying a car or house, nobody takes the first deal thrown at them.

this aint like your buying a car and paying sticker price. its way more like mom and dad (the union) negotiated long and hard with the car salesman (the company) to get you a car that they think is best for you. now there asking if you like it (the vote). say yes and you drive away with the car they chose for you. say no and maybe you get the same car with added pinstripes and chrome wheels (second vote) or maybe they say no car for you for now and make you wait (strike). if you really want a different car altogether (MAJOR changes to the tentative master) your gonna need new parents and thats not gonna happen now.

They can barely staff buildings without a strike. 0 chance of strike. Anyone saying otherwise is using scare tactics. Vote no have them get a better deal. Send a message we are not going to be fooled we understand the company and our union have their own agenda.

Anyone thinking about voting yes go watch hoffa with Danny devito. Hoffa sr was a great man. Then tell me how you want to vote

That movie was mostly fiction.

If you want a more complete look at James R. Hoffa, read "Out of the Jungle: Jimmy Hoffa and the Remaking of the American Working Class." It's dry but is the most exhaustive look at the most effective labor leader the USA has ever seen; it was written around the time when James P. Hoffa was elected and was a little too optimistic but is otherwise a great read.
