I deliver a boatload every day myself I will have the guy that does the Granger pick up if anything has changedI deliver those red and white boxes all the time, pretty much every day
Not talking about package. Talking about feeder. The two might not be related. Package might still pick up from Grainger store locations.I do not have one on my route but I do know the driver who picks them up
You joke about it but I could see them saying this on a conference call. "If we can't staff property to deliver all the packages, maybe we need less packages".Think of all the money UPS is saving not having to pick up so much volume.
The problem here is the volume is bigger than ever and they won’t hire anyone. 25% of our guys have filed 9.5 every single week and nothing. We lost most of our Grainger a wild back out west, and yes that did come at the cost of some feeder jobs. Better not Bigger really is working out for us ain’t it.

Just ordered a pair of custom Vans a month ago, they were sent UPS.We lost Vans back in October and Lowes a couple months back and I heard we just lost Collectors Universe. All went to FedEx. Losing big name accounts is nothing new these days.
It’s been over a year we’ve been hearing oh volume will drop anytime now. They want you to think that so you’ll continue to run and get it done. After all this could dry you any time.I wonder if maybe they are anticipating a drop post-covid, or even the eventual loss of Amazon. And trying to skate by with an understaffed operation in the mean time.
