Work injury... should i get a lawyer?

I already went for my invasive surgery. Surgeon says up to 1 year to heal fully. But doubt any disability

You will likely need PT. Every state has different work comp laws and no way would I want to deal with Liberty Mutual by myself jumping through every conceivable loophole they can find to not pay you.

Secondly, if your management wrote you up for any unsafe work practice after your injury in an attempt to place the blame on you, that is considered retaliation and intimidation (in my state) and both are very illegal and could multiply your settlement.

Plain and simple get a workman's comp. lawyer to fight your battle .You are no good up against these folk on your own .

I know they wrote the story that I was at fault. I tripped and fell, it was a safety hazard when there's a gap not fixed.

They made me study and test on few safety regulations, and talked to me like I was at fault.

You know it's really quite sad, I got injured in 98 requiring surgery, LM sent a nurse to my house to explain everything and how it was all going to go and even had them pay my wife to take care of me instead of paying a nurse to come to my home and there really wasn't a need for a nurse because after surgery it was basically just recovery time. Now it's gotten to where they aren't so nice. Maybe all the fake claims or whatever, but it has changed over the years.

I had surgery in 99, same thing, no problems at all.

Liberty mutual just spoke to me in some condescending tone. Center manager told me I was ing up his numbers by reporting an injury and that he would stick security on me.

What is the extent of your injury and are they denying you w/c benefits?

Face as wee bit mangled, but he still looks better than @MECH-X-LIFT .
