One UPS building is having trouble hiring part-timers because of it.

The funny part is a bunch of management people bailed, thinking "the grass was greener"

only to find out, once they got hired on there.... they topped out. No advancement.

I have worked part time at 2 different Amazon facilities and it's the best company I've worked for as far as making sure the employee is comfortable. Both times I applied it took me less than 3 months to be permanent with a raise to 13.75. the bigger warehouse I worked in was air conditioned, the one I'm in now is not but it's because we have four giant doors for pvds to come through.

There's hand lotion and biofreeze in the first aid kit for Christ sake. This article is bs

Where companies like Boeing have a net income of over $8 billion from $93 billion in revenue. UPS: $65 billion revenue, $5 billion net income. I know retail (especially online) is a different ball game, but still their stock is grossly overpriced.

Because all that revenue goes back into he company. They are spending like crazy building all these warehouses and buying up office space in expensive places like seattle. That's why they dont show much profit
