You'd be begging me to come back. Telling me about all your bills and college debt. You would offer to do anything to get your job back.
(Soft music begins to play in the background)

Oh please Mr Center Manger man... please I'll do anything to get my job back...........

..... anything.

You work for them. You are required to work with ups's best interest in mind regardless. They don't have to cooperate with you about anything except the contract.
So what you are saying is that if they tell me not to follow ORION...but they still choose to intentionally garble the manifest into an incomprehensible, random jumble...and then refuse to format it in the correct order by making two clicks with a mouse...that they then have the right to demand that I mentally reconstruct the dispatch into something that works?
I call BS on that.
They dont have the right to intentionally set me up to fail and them blame me for it.

Lol. They will never get rid of it. It's the future. At some point a driver should mature enough due to age and years of driving to stop waisting time and energy bitching and just do your job aiming towards a pension.
I am trying to do my job.
They are the ones who are giving me conflicting instructions on what to do.

Exactly, it is bs but they don't work for you

Maybe you need to familiarize yourself with our labor agreement.
Intentionally going out of their way to scramble the manifest, refusing to provide the information that I need and request in order to do my job, and then attempting to discipline me for failing after intentionally setting me up to fail is called “harrassment and over-supervision” and it is specifically prohibited under Article 37.
They cant have it both ways.
They cant tell me to be deliberately stupid and then try to fire me for being deliberately stupid.

First week of peak is in the books and I loved it. It was such a dumpster fire at our hub. Not enough helpers and too many new drivers in my area. I would finish my route and go help others. Burned up 12.5 to 13.5 hours every day until yesterday when I had to be off the clock by 8 not to violate DOT. I got a 2 day weekend out of it. Hoping for the same this week. Still get the 60 hours but do it in 5 days. Anyone with 2.5 hours or more left had to go in today.

IESucks went 30 years with out a warning letter because he's spineless. Now he's trying to tell us how it works and hasn't been correct yet.

Following ORION 85% (90% here) or better is what we are instructed to do by the company. Working as directed is working in the company's best interest.

Instructing me to follow ORION 100%... is a valid directive.

Instructing me to disregard ORION and use common sense and area knowledge to reduce miles and make service on all stops...is also a valid directive.

Instructing me to be intentionally stupid a minimum of 85% of the time while simultaneously requiring me to act intelligently (but only up to a maximum of 15%) in order to save the route from the resulting failure...is not a valid directive.

Instructing me to disregard ORION while at the same time refusing to make the two mouse clicks that are necessary to prevent my manifest from being intentionally scrambled and set up to fail...is also not a valid directive.

Any questions?
