UPS Driver caught trying to steal packages near Tomball, according to Constable – Chron

A Houston-area UPS driver is behind bars Thursday after being caught stealing packages from customers, police said.
Gilbert Good, 19, was caught by a UPS security manager placing packages in his car that were meant to be delivered on his route Dec. 12, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. The incident took place in the 24700  block of Tomball Parkway.
The manager also overheard Good talking on the phone about robbing his delivery customers before Christmas, authorities said.

FedEx shares plunge 10% as company cuts forecast, warning of economic slowdown – CNBC

  • FedEx’s stock is on pace for its worst day since December 2008 since the company lowered its forecast for full-year earnings because of the decline in global trade.
  • Chairman and CEO Frederick Smith concluded the call by saying “most of the issues that we’re dealing with today are induced by bad political choices,” naming Brexit and U.S. tariffs as headwinds.

Homeowner pulls gun on UPS driver delivery woman – WGN 9

If you’ve ordered a lot of stuff online this holiday season, you may have noticed some of it being delivered by people in unmarked vehicles. That concerned a resident in North Carolina.

Nile Price does seasonal deliveries for UPS and drives her own car. Last Saturday, she stopped by a home to deliver a package. Wearing her UPS uniform, she identified herself to the resident. It didn’t convince the homeowner as the resident pointed a gun at her.

“I asked him why would he pointed a rifle, and he said ‘Well we don’t know who you are,'” Price said.
