Only at UPS do people bitch about doing anything extra. Ask any other working class stiff about a scenario in which a UPS driver is going to file a grievance because he doesn't want to work 5 hours on a Saturday at $48.39/hour and he is going to faint in disbelief.
This is the real world and most people in it that only have a HS diploma and no vocational skills do NOT make $48.39/hour on a Saturday. Most of these people are working Saturdays at Walmart for $11.50/hour just to get a few extras for their family.
Just think about this before your
goes crying to the union that you're forced to work 5 hours on a Saturday. Do you think that would fly in corporate America? No. People do as they are told and if they don't you're talking to the unemployment operator. How did we become such a bunch wuss-bags when it comes to working a few extra hours?
