Hoffa visits the city of brotherly love!

Richard Harrow

Deplorable.
He'll be in Newark, NJ for Local 177 on Saturday morning. If I have to risk being carjacked for this rally, he owes me more than a great contract. He'd better start crapping me Tiffany cufflinks.

177 is some bad m efers

Yeah, our business agents can be ruthless at times, I've seen them get into some serious shouting matches with management over the years. Our local is a little lukewarm on Hoffa, though. I'm not sure of the most recent election, but the one before it, Hoffa didn't carry our local if I remember correctly, and we're a pretty big local.

I assume he was boo'ed like everyone else when they visit "the city of brotherly love".

You missed the part about "brotherly" love. You see we only love one another here in Philly. Wait, whats that? We had 331 murders in 2012? Up near 10% from 2009? Philadelphia is only safer than 9% of the cities in the US? One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 20?? NeighborhoodScout found Philadelphia to be one of the top 100 most dangerous cities in the U.S.A?? Never mind. Carry on. Nothing to see here.

Now I remember why I moved out of the city. Not to mention the city Wage tax. Sorry, meant extortion tax.

I only wish our union were half as strong as y'all up north!!
You must not be in Local 79. Our Local is one of the strongest in the country and is blessed to have some of the best business agents you could ask for. Hoffa and Hall are visiting us on Sunday in Tampa. We welcome them.

I too was in Newark today. There had to have been close to 2,000 Teamsters there today, the turnout was unreal. I like what Hoffa had to say, I was directly in front of him when he addressed the congregation in the lobby, and I will tell all of you this: dig in. These guys are adamant about not paying one red cent for healthcare and I seriously doubt their stance will change.

That's why major cities get so bad, dumb liberal ideas. Not even democrats, major city politicians are borderline socialist

"Not $90,Not $9,Not 9c!" Was my favorite. They definitly got us us fired up. They said without going into any detail that most of the supplements were done. Also that if the proposal came up about us paying for HB Hall said they are telling them "We'll see you in July" and walking out. Oh Baby!!
