this wasn't even an organized tropical storm. It was a bunch of tropical rain.
Maybe it might develop later and hit Tampa or something as a low grade storm.
But the news down here was acting like it was Armageddon.
Did all that running around last night because my wife was concerned.

Not to mention I still get texts and calls from friends and family everytime there is a watch.

It's always annoyed me. I'm prepared and we have a plan for this every year because after Andrew, things changed. The building codes down here got stricter and people keep that in mind when living here.
It's just the news will make it out that every one of these storms is the end.
