It's EVERY country ever. The ultra ultra rich get by with stuff. I hasn't changed for 5,000 years don't see why it would ever change.

Who get punished? No mr and mrs sit on my ass and do nothing. No they get their money anyway.

Those punished are those that worked very hard to make "a lot" of money (250k to a few million). Those are the everyday people getting bent over.

yes but things do change, so example college used to be more affordable for americans 30 years ago and it is now less affordable. some things change some things stay the same.

It's less affordable because the government thought they could make it more affordable. Comical I know.

well thats very convenient for u and the clock...

i very much doubt they wanted to make it more affordable, they probably decided they could establish more social control by keeping newly graduated students racked in debt. i know reagan did it in california for those means.

and anyways the government used to fund 80% of the cost of college, teh individual paid 20%. now its 50 / 50.

so you think its even steven? well thats just dandy. your familiar with that news reporter, and the consistent quality of his journalism too i assume.

anyways i very much doubt the middle class is shrinking because of lack of ambition.

u think that workers shouldnt have more say at their jobs which affect their a good portion of their lives? do you like democracy? or should we continue to just have political democracy, and free choice of economic tyranny?
Denial.....denial....denial. Thats exactly why so many people fail to improve anything in their lives. The deny their own problems and habits that keep them from advancing. Some people just suck at life.

Can you grasp the concept that the government has no money of its own? All it can do is spend other people's money.

The middle class is shrinking because many are moving up into the upper class at the same time as many are falling into the lower class. But more are moving upward. The rich aren't just getting richer. More people are becoming rich.

Again...the problem isn't the rich. It's that many people aren't trying hard enough to be rich, are trying but failing to be rich, or simply don't want to be rich. And many of the latter are happy living on the government dole. Remove jealousy from the equation, as well as the commie/socialist nonsense about workers taking their jobs from their bosses, and more people would be happy.
Interesting spin, with conclusions not based on facts.

Here's the actual PEW article with links to facts, rather than the opinion of a former WSJ/current CNBC reporter who specializes in being nice to rich folk:

And some were dealt a lousy hand from the bottom of the deck.

On Easter, shouldn't we be doing what we can to improve the lives of the less fortunate?

if i as a worker produce value for a capitalist, and the capitalist takes it, does that mean the capitalist has no money either? i dont think so. and anyways (some) governments can print money lol.

You really don't understand, do you?
your statement is so ridiculous its not even worth debating. yes, the government taxes its citizens. and yes some government can print their own money lol.

i have no problem with governments taking alot of money from the 0.1% or whoever and redistributing to the middle class and poor. tax systems have to do this because our economic system distributes the money so poorly in the first place.

sure some people suck at life, doesnt mean they should be condemmed to poverty by bad genetics or because they are not cut out for a precarious economy.

Of course! Someone spending all of their time in their parent's basement deserves as much money as someone else who goes out and works hard all day!

thats exactly the point i was making before. why should speculators who looted the treasury make way more than a scientist? why should someone who doesnt work and is in school make as much money as a heir to the walton family fortune?
