After knocking, how long do you wait

I ring and knock, dirt the pkg, fill out the notice, and if they dont answer or open the door the tag is on the door and I'm driving down the road.

If I find an elderly person that is slow to answer upon reattempt I have the oms put a note in dps at that address to "wait for elderly customer".

Otherwise I'm out to train the world in "ups sense of urgency" methods.

Works great in the hood.
