Says it in your attachment, the kids getting $0.50 as he achieved seniority AFTER aug 1 2018 (October 2018 by their account). The 2 -tier progression the contract speaks of is the sort aisle/load pay vs regular/unload pay, they are erasing that and making it linear. Got it?
The $.50 was the old contract. The new contract works like this.
Every Aug 1st you get either the raise or the yearly progression. Which ever is higher.

Sorry but you're mistaken. Hes not working off a old contract especially when that language you are talking about is no longer in this current contract.Says it in your attachment, the kids getting $0.50 as he achieved seniority AFTER aug 1 2018 (October 2018 by their account) The 2 -tier progression the contract speaks of is the sort aisle/load pay vs regular/unload pay, they are erasing that and making it linear. Hope you got it.
Yes it's says.he would start at $13 and because the raise for 2019 is less than the 2019 progression he would move to $14. Now in 2020 the raise is hire than the progression so he would make $14.80But he said he started in October of 2018, so doesn't the part right after your green highlighting apply?
I lost interest a few post ago is what the ok meansIs that a Ok you agree or OK I hate you and don't want to talk to you anymore.

So if he's at $14.50 now, he should go up to $15.40...but new hires will start at $15 as of August 1. But isn't the progression only $0.50 a year? The $.50 was the old contract. The new contract works like this.

I swear I'm going to strangle you! LolBut isn't the progression only $0.50 a year?
I think you're incorrect. If you was hired after August 1st 2018 you don't get the raises You get the $0.50 bump up every year.I swear I'm going to strangle you! Lol
I'm willing to admit I'm not always right. So let's ask a 3rd party.I think you're incorrect. If you was hired after August 1st 2018 you don't get the raises You get the $0.50 bump up every year.
So it'd be 15.90 vs 15.50 then? The $.50 was the old contract. The new contract works like this.
Every Aug 1st you get either the raise or the yearly progression. Which ever is higher.
If I'm correct and he's at $14.80 as I believe he is. Than he would go to $15.70 with the $.90 raise. New hires would start at $15.00.So it'd be 15.90 vs 15.50 then?
I meant me cause I went to $15 but was locked for 3 yearsIf I'm correct and he's at $14.80 as I believe he is. Than he would go to $15.70 with the $.90 raise. New hires would start at $15.50.
So 3 years ago UPS gave you more than the raises or progression. So yes if I'm correct you'd be at $15.90 Aug 1st. Though aren't you in 705/710 which is a different than the NMA?I meant me cause I went to $15 but was locked for 3 years
