Any Tips to Improve time allowance????

That could be true but if they are worrying about non existent time allowance...
And just why should any driver ask to see their reports if we don't recognize their numbers?

That's validating their mind control.

Quit looking at the racing reports and just record your total stats and log your hrs worked. It's NOT my problem to validate or acknowledge the numbers on their recap sheets and the drivers that do are foolish.

Know of a guy that was in a similar situation. They kept riding with him and couldn't find anything wrong with his methods. And production didn't change when management rode with him. Eventually his numbers changed over night to be more realistic. Moral of the story is just do your job as though they are with you and eventually they will figure it out, hopefully.
He can file a harassment grievance and stop the rides. If you really want to screw with them got to timecard screen and look at the code in the board. When they ride with you the code will be different than 05 and it will plan everytime. Next time they ride with you change the code to 05 and watch them stand around and scratch their head the next morning.

Actually, coding 02 will show you scratch every day...but will also show up on a report.

Supes use 02 so you can't see how poor their performance was.

I look at my daily number so I know how slow I can go if I want to. I also sometimes look at the numbers from the day before to see how much I beat them by. Orion does two things for me it makes me more money or lets me get out early. If I follow it I make more money. If I run the route my way I get out early.

What code are you talking about the pay code 05 is hours worked, 06 is 8 hr guaranteed, 09 is Sat / time and a Half. If a Sup rides with you they put in a 3 digit code in a different spot.

The ojs code they use will make you scratch everytime. Its been a while but when they use to ride with me they would put in a 2 digit code on the old diad. It was mentioned above in a response. Then they will ask you what happened when your by yourself and you don't scratch. Its just a way to get you to try and work harder when your by yourself.

The OJS code is made up of 3 number letters combo. What old board are you talking about because 3,4, and 5 they enter a 3 number letter combo. Also the OJS code doesn't change your time allowances that you don't get it just to show someone was on the car with you.

The only time an 05 or 06 will affect your over/under is if you take an 06 and come in under 8 hours. So if you scratched on a 775 dispatch you will show as 25 over.

We still get an over/under. Just look at the bottom of the report. It just doesn't show next to our dispatch.
The ojs code they use will make you scratch everytime.
No it won't. The only OJS's that will affect your time allowance would be Full/Part Day Space and Visibility.
Also the OJS code doesn't change your time allowances that you don't get it just to show someone was on the car with you.
You would be correct with the majority of OJSes that we do.

If your code an 05 your over under doesn't really matter because 99% of the time your working and getting paid for less than 8 hours.

If you code a 06 your guaranteed 8 hrs of pay whether or not your actually work 8 hours. If they don't give you 8 hours of work that is there problem if your over paid not yours.

My sup keeps telling me I am running almost 2hr over every morning...I dont get it because Im only working 9hr day most days...he said to me...."are you putting in your overweight's?"... not sure what that has to do with anything, so are there any tips you vets can give this crappy driver(sups words) ??
Unless you are trying to "qualify",why worry about it? While trying to qualify I worked through lunch and breaks,I lined up stops on the dashboard,I put overweight on almost every stops,I put "rear door" location for all of my DR's. After that, were NOT paid production,we are paid by the hour.

Worrying about time allowances is kind of like trying to find the optimum strategy for playing a slot machine at a casino. There isn't one. The time allowances that UPS has implemented were never intended to be fair or realistic in the first place. They were intended, as a whole, to create a "standard" that can only be met by working off of the clock. They extract revenue from the work group (in the form of free labor) in the same manner that slot machines extract revenue from the players. Yes there are routes that can "make bonus" in the same way that there are slot machines that sometimes "pay out" but ultimately both systems are mathematically designed to guarantee that the house will win.
If you have Orion, print a stop-by-stop manifest for your route. What you will NOT see is a lunch break and the federally mandated 10 minute breaks.

Besides, once you make seniority and learn to not let management affect your life things get really easy.
