Only 11% of fracking is on Federal land.

And there's a hell of a lot of land out there to be explored but now shut down by the government. And before fracking we were talking Peak oil and it becoming more scarce. The fracking on private land is to get at oil that wasn't recoverable through normal drilling. And the environmentalists are beside themselves because they thought the end of fossil fuel was in sight.

The best example of environmentalists foolish behavior was that time in Seattle where everyone got into their plastic kayaks { made by oil } to surround and protest an oil platform stopping over on it's way north.
