Be careful pulling out pkg cars when they are parked inches from the pkg car beside yours.

Maybe the BA could come in early one morning and walk up and down the line up to observe.

He could then walk into the center manager's office and say, "...how do expect my members to pulls these cars out of the line up without damaging them?".

Document date, time and what was said by center manager and BA.
A BA? Whsts that?

eats packages

Deranged lunatic
Let's assume the average width of a package car to be 10'.

Let's further assume that the optimal minimal space between parked cars is 1'.

Decreasing that by 50% for 22 pkg cars (22 * 6" = 132". 132"/12 = 11') would allow you to add an additional car to the lineup with the 6" cushion on each side.

Parking the cars as (safely) close as possible to one another decreases the amount of steps the loader must take in order to do their jobs.
Honestly if it is less than 1 1/2 feet I'm good

And it won’t go any farther up the chain than your center. They’re not going to have an in building accident on their books.

Years ago a guy hit a fire extinguisher in building with tail swing (don't even get me started on how terrible the building layout was) and management put in a request for new extinguishers because the ones in building were clogged or something LOL

On our building one of the carwash guy (really old guy) goes around at night painting the trucks back to brown where they had been scratched.
Gotta give the man a reason to justify his salary you know.
Prob the center manager's dad.

A PC at 120" wide would be illegal to drive down the road without a wide load sign on it and escort.
Come on dude. How long you worked here?

Trailers drive onto the ground floor of the building through the wide gates, then they back into the bay.
Package cars drive in and go up a corkscrew ramp that takes them into the higher levels.
Ive seen that cluster when i was in NYC a few years ago. If you get 2 days safe driving in manhattan you should get an award.

wouldn't mean squat...we are talking about the same members who back and hit a building that is hundreds of feet wide, or take off the gutter on someones house! Shall I go on...

Hope you have your share of avoidables this week hot shot.

Your system makes us turn around in drives now so change your Depends and get home before some other carrier's driver delivers your wife/husband a pkg. :flirtysmile3:

You sure are a bitter little tool. My guess is either a driver stuffed you in a toilet when you were younger or you got picked on for having those pistol grip ears.

If I can bonus an hour a day on the 1A. I’m gonna take. Because I’m an hour over on the 5A. The numbers have no consistency.
But i doubt you look at it as insurance to keep your accidents and infractions covered up by the management as USNY claimed it did for him.
