China gets over a million tourist in the USA. Free to leave China. They willing visit the USA and go back home. If China was such this genocidal regime, why don’t we have a Chinese refugee problem in the states?

Why would I need to go back in time when I live in the future to say attaching a post war Japan to a communist China is a terrible idea, spreading Maoism to Japan is a terrible idea, that young man cutting down that communist pig and stopping the socialist was one of the best post war happenings in Japan.
The Emperor was pretty much a figurehead and the real power was the military and industrialists.
A lot of deals were done at the end of the war. One was keeping Hirohito in to prevent communists from moving in and to block the military from power. Another was the same industrialists were left to rebuild and are still around today.
