Probably the prime reason things are gotten away with is most of both parties are in on money making schemes. Where Biden is really concerning is he and his family went for the big money with China. Now we're talking compromising our foreign policy and potentially betraying allies.

And it wasn't really until the Republicans brought it up in the summer before the election was it widely known. A book came out in early 2020 detailing it and other things. And him being on the Burisma board was just one of the things that came out where he was receiving money for doing nothing.

I know how you love to slam FOX and Tucker Carlson, but Carlson awhile back detailed how Congressmen line their pockets. Lobbyists contribute to campaign funds of course to get legislation they want pushed through. Tucker showed what happened with both a Democrat and a Republican who got bills passed. Both have private "consulting" firms, usually just made up of that Congressman and maybe one staff member. When the favorable legislation is passed the lobbying group then hires that "consulting" firm and pays it hundreds of thousands of dollars. This is on the up and up because Congress makes the rules. But it's how Congressmen become millionaires and our government is essentially run by corporations and special interests with a lot of money. So do you think they're going to go after anyone who knows how the game is played? Biden got legislation passed in the 90's that protected credit card companies from consumer bankruptcy. Most of those card companies back then were HQed in Delaware due to favorable state laws and Biden was their guy. And after he got the legislation passed one of those banks/card companies hired on Hunter. That's another money making avenue, hiring children of important politicians. Chelsea Clinton got hired right out of college at $900k a year. This was the threat Trump was to the establishment. All you guys want to do is scream what a boor Trump is, how he's uncouth. You helped get rid of the one guy who was actually trying to affect change and now we're right back to the old Swamp. All that attacking Trump supporters and you can't seem to grasp we supported him because he seemed the only one who cared about the plight of the working man. At least among presidential candidates.
