I have read and heard as California goes, so does the rest of the nation.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Laws that promote the historical contributions of gays and lesbians and help illegal immigrant college students gain financial aid will take effect with the new year in California, even as opponents seek to overturn the legislation at the ballot box.
They are among hundreds of new laws aimed at issues as diverse as protecting sharks, farm workers and teenagers. Other measures prohibit people from carrying unloaded handguns in public and let children as young as 12 get vaccinated against the leading cause of cervical cancer without their parents' consent.

On Jan. 1, California becomes the first state to require public schools to teach the contributions of gays and lesbians. The law adds people with disabilities to the list of social and ethnic groups whose "roles and contributions" must be included in California and U.S. history lessons. It bans instructional materials judged to reflect adversely on gays or particular religions.

"So goes the nation" used to be so, but not anymore....too many nuts running things out here. Does it really matter to anyone if Paul Revere may have been gay? All that matters is that he warned that the British are coming. Who cares who he did after his famous ride?? Just teach the history!
The books never mentioned which of the founders were non-gay and which were gay........although the clothes were a dead giveaway.

Does a person being homosexual add to an accomplishment, does it make the feat any more important? If the accomplishment is only mention worthy because the person is gay, it's not that big of an accomplishment. I'm sure there have been lots of thing done in history that made positive contributions to society, what difference does it make if the contributors are gay or straight, white or black, male or female? To me, it makes no difference.

His plan is for Face Book to come to his rescue.
Now should Face Book launch an IPO this year ( worth about $10B ) the taxes from this stock sale and all future capital gain taxes to be collected later , would in his plan save the state.

Once and for all PAUL REVERE didnt warn ANYONE about ANYTHING. He was captured long before anything happened. Not only was he captured, but he told on his comrades while in captivity. He was going to be executed, but managed to escape amidst the comotion of the attacks.

He was a FAILURE and a homosexual as well. Homosexuality goes back to the origins of the bible, jesus and the romans. Lets get over the gay thing already.
