hate to say it but i watched them install one in a package car 2 weeks ago. in the back facing to the front of the truck.
How long do you think it will be before that camera is "accidently" broken?

I don't see the fuss about seeing how many stops left?
I work as directed and do not wory about what info they gather. The new technology will be included in a lot of the things we buy.....
Technology is designed to provide information to an informed user so that the operation can run more smoothly; however, as Trpl noted, this information, when provided to an uninformed user, may as well have been in Chinese for all that it was worth.
Forty6and2, it sounds to me as though you do a great job but it also sounds as though you may need to slow down a bit or you may very well be asked to help out others who may not be as smooth with the methods as you appear to be.
George Orwell was right. He was just a few decades off.The book JT is referring to is called 1984 and I am going to go to Borders tomorrow to see if is available as I would like to re-read it.

Kind of ironic really. You’ll be watched by security cameras as you shop for Orwell’s 1984.
Who cares the on roads let them watch. like they have time to do that, our center manager is gone at 3
It would not matter to me how many stops I had left as I would not give work to another driver. Not that I would want overtime, but they can not take work from you and give it to another driver. Go ahead and jump on me, but there is language in the supplement where I work to cover that. Like I said, don't want the extra overtime, but also don't think we should need to take care of dispatching on the road. The great PAS/EDD deal should be able to send every run out with the perfect amount of stops.
Incidentally, I am on feeders right now, but usually end up on delivery frequently as things change a lot around our shack in the woods.
Your comment regarding sending help or adjusting the dispatch on route, I have never heard of in my 28 years of UPS. What area do you work in, if you don't mind sharing. I just find your comment intriguing, regarding UPS and your local coming to agreement as you stated.
Thank for any info.
Though I rarely need or ask for help, I never stand in the way of those that desire to deliver packages assigned to my truck. My parents taught me to share.
