In 705 the day after Thanksgiving is a paid holiday. They pay us double time every hour worked as well. I think I worked 10 hours. I celebrate thanksgiving Wednesday with her family Thursday at my family. Friday I'm ready for peak it's easy money. We work for ups this is our biggest part of the year it sucks but those long vacations in the summer make up for it.

Straight time here. No longer a holiday. Union gave it away. But even when it was a holiday we only got straight time for first eight.
Remember back and enjoy the memories of what it was like to have a Thanksgiving holiday with the family. Those days are gone at UPS and they won't be coming back. In fact, UPS and the union are working together slowly in the direction of making Thanksgiving and Christmas Day regular work days. The more retarded millennials that enter the workforce the easier it's going to be to eliminate these American traditions and the extra pay that used to come for being denied family time. Just hand them a participation award, pat them on the back, and they'll surrender everything.

Starting wage is a waste of time.

Christmas and Thanksgiving will always be national holidays. You’ll always be off.
