That's what we used to say about Black Friday.
Never say never.
If we had more strong union members like you in 687, we probably wouldn't be in this predicament. Lol.
Pretty sad really.
Black Friday was never a national or state holiday.
But it was a UPS holiday. Let's start working Christmas too. Not everyone recognizes that as a holiday...
We won’t because it’s a federal and state holiday.
Jesus! What do you not understand?
I I didn't know I got paid for Turkey Day. .
Have you worked here a year?
Let's see------"I Have A Dream Day", Indigenous People's Day and Veteran's Day are all Federal holidays. We work all of those days.
The Peak before I retired they had posted a "just in case" sign up list for Christmas Day. $100/hr. Thankfully there was no need for us to come in but I had signed the list.
The only day that would be off limits would be Labor Day.
Guess you shoulda stayed in RI
No f/n way------too many Hispanics.
As of 11/02, yeah.
Is that your seniority date or was you a seasonal last Christmas?
In RI? Seriously?
I think Dave thinks 1 is too many. Oddly he lives in NY. I think I read that there aren’t too many there. 14% Hispanics in RI compared to 27.5% in NY. Dave, seriously, what do you have against Hispanics?
I was a seasonal but got in. My other date was January.
You need one year seniority to get paid for the holidays.
I understand that the day after Thanksgiving used to be a holiday in my neck of the woods. Now it's not. Not sure what being a national holiday has anything to do with it. My name is not Jesus. But to answer your question- what do YOU not understand?
Separate names with a comma.
