We had some late air. A few of us were asked to stay and unload it. Me and a couple other guys worked nearly 8 hours that day.

Bring the steward in the office with you and ask the supervisor to show you your time card. I believe the software they use for time cards shows if it has been edited at all.

Do yourself a favor and start writing down all hours you work and checking the time card viewer online to make sure you are being paid for every single minute worked.

Well, my mistake. If OP is still wondering, you only get paid for staying late (at least in my hub). Clocking in before or at your start time doesn't impact your OT pay. Eg, while 2:52 to 7:52 is five hours, overtime doesn't kick in until 8 because we didn't start until 8. Had the start time been 2:45, OT pay would kick in at 7:45.
