Well ya'll can bitch and moan all ya want to, because I just retired with 27 years service. Or I should say been retired a couple months now and enjoying every minute of it. Finally getting some things done around the house as well. Have also have getting some time in my recliner (boy what a life) catching up on my rest....Welp its been a busy last 27 years so yall enjoy working out there in those driving rain storms and slick roads. I heard they putting camera's in some of the vans now. Wow glad I'm gone......

1) Federal Express is hiring almost all frontline positions.
2) Low 20 something per hour, benefits, 401k etc. + available OT.
3) Turnover and morale are always influx.
4) Rumor mill claims a 5-7% raise this fall.
5) More electric vehicles and tech in trucks expected.
6) Monday is usually the only day my station (my belt) can make service.
7) Every full time day route can build with anywhere from 65-130 del.
8) Mid shift employees 11-8 can mix 35-45 p2. & 25-35 pickups. (Some struggle with this)
9) The SFA survey is useless. For the most part.
10) It’s not that bad. Always could be better, but could be worse too. As much as we’re like UPS, we are actually quite different.

Perhaps they're telling the truth. There are far better jobs out there, but Express is the best I've had. Beats the living hell out of radio.
