Fan or no fan?

Been talking to other drivers at our center, and most don't use their fan(s). Personally I feel like it just blows more hot air on me.

Mostly hot air, but it can help those times where you're sitting at a light or in the country going slowly down a long driveway.

On the older trucks I felt like it just blew hot air. On the newer ones that fan that's only a foot or so from my head feels pretty good.
Almost makes up for all the times I've cracked my head on it.

I wear a tight fitting “tech” undershirt that gets wet pretty quick on a hot day. Once you get a sweat going it really helps. Especially when the package car is sitting still. I got a new fan last week but it was the crap one with the ball and screw adjustment. The fans with two bolts and nuts for adjustment are much better.

Yep. I tried using it for a while, and although it did take a little of the edge off the heat, I'm more concerned about retiring with my hearing intact.

I've never used it, not once. Not interested on working in a blow dryer.

I love the fans. Yes, its mostly hot air, but helps dry up the sweat that would otherwise be running down the sides of my face.

Many already bring large coolers, why not have a pump with a hose that hook onto the fans?
