I wasn't addressing your defund scenario.I said " could ".
I was trying to say you may be missing the larger picture.

Hard evidence is in the complaint, this is only the first time any of it has been brought to a court. For once you'll get some hard evidence. DOJ attorney has already pled guilty to altering documents to justify getting FISA warrants to spy on Carter Page. Page was an asset of the CIA but attorney made it look like he wasn't and was possibly a Russian asset. First in hopefully many convictions John Durham gets.
They've already uncovered Peter Strzok's notes from meeting where it was Biden himself who suggested using the Logan Act to go after Mike Flynn. How do you go to monetary judgment so quickly?
Do you think they will not defend?
On to discovery, this could be the door to enter the Jan. 5 meeting in the oval office.
Get your popcorn.
Great, read the complaint. They've already uncovered Peter Strzok's notes from meeting where it was Biden himself who suggested using the Logan Act to go after Mike Flynn.
You have to start somewhere. If we had had Barr as Attorney General in 2017 this would've been over by now. Sessions wimped out.Hard evidence is in the complaint, this is only the first time any of it has been brought to a court.
I'm lookin for a Kenyan/American target. They've already uncovered Peter Strzok's notes from meeting where it was Biden himself who suggested using the Logan Act to go after Mike Flynn.
Dude I've been following this closely for over a year now. They've got one conviction right now. Durham has yet to file anything else but says he's pursuing several avenues that he needs to get right. My question is if Biden ultimately wins can his AG stop this?Great, read the complaint.
Then get back to me.
All roads lead to the White House. But if they let Hillary off the hook it's doubtful they'll ever go after Obama.I'm lookin for a Kenyan/American target.
Agreed on Sessions. You have to start somewhere. If we had had Barr as Attorney General in 2017 this would've been over by now. Sessions wimped out.
The answer is yes.Dude I've been following this closely for over a year now. They've got one conviction right now. Durham has yet to file anything else but says he's pursuing several avenues that he needs to get right. My question is if Biden ultimately wins can his AG stop this?
I'm aware. Remember Barr didn't come in until after the midterms. It took Mueller 2 years to find nothing. Durham probably has a lot more to corroborate.Agreed on Sessions.
Barr has allowed this to go on too long, and I like Barr.
You must understand, Trump had/has no standing to make these charges, he has seen all documents, unredacted however.
If I were Durham I would get this all out there, arrest people, set trial dates. Fully expect something of substance before the inauguration. If not, it's all BS.The answer is yes.
Exactly. No one has gone after anyone before this complaint. All roads lead to the White House. But if they let Hillary off the hook it's doubtful they'll ever go after Obama.
Mueller knew the first day there was nothing.I'm aware. Remember Barr didn't come in until after the midterms. It took Mueller 2 years to find nothing. Durham probably has a lot more to corroborate.
Sorry, but this is a Federal criminal investigation. Laws were broken. They're getting their ducks in a row before indictments.Exactly. No one has gone after anyone before this complaint.
This is not a government prosecution, this is a civil action.
Civil actions lead to discovery, discovery leads to document production, of which I believe Trump declassified all.
Be patient, things take time.
No, what we are talking about in this thread is a civil action.Sorry, but this is a Federal criminal investigation. Laws were broken. They're getting their ducks in a row before indictments.
Judging by Mueller's performance before Congress he was a figurehead who didn't know much of anything. His pitbull Democrat partisans knew there was nothing, but used the special counsel as a fishing expedition in hopes of finding anything they could hang Trump with.Mueller knew the first day there was nothing.
I'd assume he is a John Doe as well.
Carter Page is bringing a civil lawsuit because the DOJ lawyer altered documents to convince the FISA court that they had reason to believe that Page was a Russian asset. Used that as a backdoor to spy on the Trump campaign. That lawyer has pled guilty and has been convicted. That gave Page irrefutable evidence that his rights had been violated by the government, his good name harmed. Durham is working on a criminal investigation on amongst other things FISA abuse, of which the Page spying is a part. Whether Page gets $75 million or whatever remains to be seen. It pales in comparison to the Obama administration setting wheels in motion to try to get Trump removed. It would be the biggest crime in U.S. political history up until the election fraud. If Durham does come forth with indictments it'll be interesting to see if the MSM chooses once again to not cover it.Exactly. No one has gone after anyone before this complaint.

@It will be fine laugh all you want. They caught a DOJ lawyer, sure you can find info, that altered documents to lie to the FISA court. Pled guilty and convicted. Don't be surprised if when Durham hands out indictments some flee the country.Carter Page is bringing a civil lawsuit because the DOJ lawyer altered documents to convince the FISA court that they had reason to believe that Page was a Russian asset.
