Yes, I know I'm working late.
I wasn't born yesterday--I realize is a cover. It would still be painted over and removed years ago.
You worked for United Parcel Service. This is UPS. Totally different company.
In today's UPS, we have little dragons hissing about taking .21 seconds too long to open the bulkhead door. If you hurt their feelings, they take 6 months "stress" leave to regroup and read some self-help books to get back at the evil hourly union workers.

This guy gets 6 brand new tires, I put a DIAD in the cradle, cant charge it, cant get nav unless I wedge a crushed empty roll of tape between the DIAD and the back of the cradle, write it up in the dvir, mechanic says, "Could not replicate problem". Of course you couldnt replicate the problem, YOU DONT HAVE A DIAD! lol Everytime Ive written up a cradle replacement, he either says that or he says, "Try a different DIAD, truck safe to operate" lol Its like whats the point in even writing it up? Its not like youre rebuilding the transmission. Its 2 screws (4 at best) and youre done. ffs

I dont believe our center has a single truck that doesnt have something that needs to be written up. Its just that no one does because the mechanics rarely address them

A few have escaped removal from the outside on 24 footers.

Knowledge is key, Experience is power.
Yes the new Fords are very nice with the v10 motor. The ones we have use better tires than the regular p1000s. You can feel the torque even with a full load going uphill.

Oh--I've admitted many time I couldn't / wouldn't work for todays UPS. Either someone would die or I would die of boredom having EVERYTHING done for me from showing me what is behind the truck to telling me where my next stop was and how many pkgs I had for it. The job had to be way more interesting back when a person had to use their brain. :-)
