No. Really. Which regulations? Get rid of everify? EPA? The requirement for companies of a certain size to provide health insurance?
It seems likely Ford was paying lip service to Trump. It was decision they were planning on making anyway so why not stroke the big baby's ego while they're at it.

They announced today and cited Trump and his plans to reduce taxes and encourage domestic production. Not even in office and still making progress.

Being President isn't being Salesman-In-Chief, but you people think being totally unqualified makes one supremely qualified, which is both irrational and illogical.

Oh come on, Obama was a community organizer and professor before getting into politics. He spent most of his time in the Illinois Senate running for U.S. Senator and most of his time as U.S. Senator running for President. Exactly what did he do besides give great speeches that qualified him for the world's most powerful job? At least Trump has real world business experience.

A lot of selling goes into being elected president, let alone getting your agenda passed, in congress and in public opinion.

Hillary was a salesman. She sold her soul to the private donors that paid her and Bill the big $ to hear them speak.

The American voters were not buying and she lost.

When jobs are moved to or retained in the US, I really don't care what Politician takes the credit. Most likely these business decisions were hashed out many times and many months before a Politician came into office. The ultimate decisions by big companies will make the press and will make lip service to the incoming / current administration for obvious future benefits.

A top Ford official said on tv that Trump's policies were a major reason they stayed in Michigan.

Sure. I have also heard that it was simply cheaper to rework the existing facility. The changing vehicle market dictates where the cars are made.

Perhaps the Ford official was just officially kissing some Trump ass.
