We all can speculate whatever we want to, though, because that is all there is.No idea ... the guy that said it was the CEO of Ford.

It seems likely Ford was paying lip service to Trump. It was decision they were planning on making anyway so why not stroke the big baby's ego while they're at it.No. Really. Which regulations? Get rid of everify? EPA? The requirement for companies of a certain size to provide health insurance?
can't believe I am agreeing with you. guess there is a first time for everything.Interestingly though, a spokesman for Ford said their Board made the decision to stay in the US as a vote of confidence that Trump can ease or remove regulations affecting business.
They announced today and cited Trump and his plans to reduce taxes and encourage domestic production. Not even in office and still making progress.
Oh come on, Obama was a community organizer and professor before getting into politics. He spent most of his time in the Illinois Senate running for U.S. Senator and most of his time as U.S. Senator running for President. Exactly what did he do besides give great speeches that qualified him for the world's most powerful job? At least Trump has real world business experience.Being President isn't being Salesman-In-Chief, but you people think being totally unqualified makes one supremely qualified, which is both irrational and illogical.
A lot of selling goes into being elected president, let alone getting your agenda passed, in congress and in public opinion.Being President isn't being Salesman-In-Chief, but you people think being totally unqualified makes one supremely qualified, which is both irrational and illogical.

There are a lot more factors involved than just kissing Trump's ass.

A top Ford official said on tv that Trump's policies were a major reason they stayed in Michigan.Cheaper to rebuild an existing plant than create a new facility from scratch. Trump will try and take credit for anything.

The right thing to do would be not to have planned to build those cars in Mexico in the first place. Its also worth reminding that Ford did not take gov't bailout money when both GM and Chrysler held their hands out a few years back. That in itself tells us a lot about them and doing the right thing.
