Sorry I don't have your fake news chain emails so it's nowhere to be found.
That was something I saw more than 8 years ago if I remember right. But just Googling found that France has a 35 hr workweek, workers aren't allowed to work more than 48 hrs a week, and in 2017 a law was passed that employees can't be forced to check company email past 6 p.m.. Definitely a different environment than here.

So you made it up.

You said people were literally being arrested in their offices for working too much.
Lmao.

You made it up buddy.
No, I didn't. Apparently they've resolved that issue years ago. But the French government still controls all aspects of the workplace. Something I'm sure Dems here would love to see.

You need to realize Ricky in a system like what France has it's the government that's the ultimate boss. They dictate to corporations how they'll operate in France. It's a different paradigm than the U.S. model.
i agree its not like north america and thats why its better.

You said people were literally being arrested in their offices for working too much.
And as I said apparently they've got that issue resolved. But I certainly read about it, and you were nowhere to be found when I did.
I worked in France for a few months back in 1996, and the police would come around at least once a week and question the owner because the UPSer rented car was in the lot from 7am until 8 pm 6 days a week. I never heard about arrests but there were fines for the company (told by the company management).
Nothing ever came of it and I think the word got around and they stopped bothering us.
The Socialist party was in charge at that time in France.

Here is a good example of fines levied for working too hard.
Baker in France slapped with €3,000 fine for working too hard

German conservatives dont want "yellow vests" there but its too late. They have already arrived. And for similar reasons of opposition to capitalism's ever-deepening inequality.
I'm, did you actually read what it says? They against the climate change BS that's hurting their lives. Not capitalism.
