You don't understand politics. Competing ideologies. Liberals or whatever you call them have to attack in anyway possible anyone they disagree with ideologically. Especially conservative icons like Reagan. As far as union membership being reduced 25% under Reagan. How come unions were losing members? Could it be jobs were being driven offshore because many unions over reached? Reagan didn't force people out of unions. And remember Reagan had a Democrat controlled Congress and a liberal Supreme Court. Got to love liberal professors who think they have special insight and can second guess everything.
Maybe this can shed some light on reagan. hes popular for the wrong reasons.

A lot of that is bogus. For example to date renewables don't produce as much power as nuclear plants. They cite one off examples but discount the thriving economy under Reagan that produced millions of new jobs.
