Paid 4.29 a gallon today to fill up the PC it was 3.79 a week ago. Had a quarter tank left and it was 140$. Multiply that difference in price by say 200,000 vehicles in the fleet, twice a week and you’ve got that record profit going bye bye.

To avoid the sticker shock from inflation , one would have to keep working until they are on death's door.
Not something most posters here would hardly think of doing.
But for retirees , living on a fixed budget, there is no escape.

Frankly , I had to give up lap dances to afford my basic standard of living.

Anyone care to guess what my next luxury to forgo will be ?

Price won't affect UPS at all. They can cover that with sur-charges. Now if there is a gas shortage that will be a different story.
