Gft question- Statue of limitations

Had a friend ask me how long does management have to letter you? If you lets say drop a can or get in a accident how many days have to go by before they can't give you a letter? Ive heard 7 business days but I would really like to know for sure. Anyone know of this rule I'm talking about?

Back in 2008, my last year at Express, it was up to 30 days, otherwise you cannot be "charged" for the "crime". Again, that was in'08

I believe officially, it is 5 days from the completion of the investigation. In typical FedEx fashion, it leaves a little grey area there.
