Do you mean should it remain where people work hard to establish businesses and provide jobs for others as their businesses grow? Absolutely. Should we remain a service economy with a much smaller manufacturing base so that most jobs are wage slave jobs? No, as much as possible we need to bring industry back. But let's face it, it's never going to be what you or I want, it's what will bring the most profit, including displacing as many workers as possible through AI and automation. The same conflicts we have now are only going to intensify. I'm glad I'm 58 and not 18.

The man plainly stated he had visited 57 states. Period. You plainly stated 55 governors, Period.
There was no mention of territories, period.
You do understand over the years there has been a push by some to make Puerto Rico a state? It is not a state now, it wasn't when Obama was president whether he visited it or not.
You noticed how the clown had to look and think, his actions are recorded visually, and after thinking his ignorant answer was 57 states.
Any fool knows there are only 50 states, how could 57 possibly come out of the smartest guy in the universes mouth?

And occasionally said things like 57 states. He flat out looked bad against Romney in the debates. But that's the advantage the Democrats have. They'll always have the mainstream media covering for them no matter what they say or do. The Dems appear to be ready to nominate a guy who's really struggling with diminished capacity, and is probably guilty of sexually assaulting a young staff member. The same sort of thing that they would attack a Republican for they turn a blind eye to when it's their guy. I know you know all of this Floridays but I wanted to get Benben in a twist.

I heard yesterday we mobilized 17 military field hospitals and half never saw a single patient.
I would watch the news and keep hearing about shortages. Other then parts of new new city I never saw examples anywhere where needs were not met.
In fact estimated needs were grossly overstated in almost all states.

your point is correct in that those projections by the so called experts with all their fancy modeling nonsense way overestimated the needs and cost this country a lot in not only direct cost but in peoples jobs.
the question will be since we overstated and overspent on this response by a lot how will we respond next time.
the boy crying wolf could cause a less then sufficient response next time.

its too expense to do so. what country can afford to warehouse trillions of dollars worth of PPE and respirators just in case.
not to mention at some point those supplies would expire and have to be rotated out and replaced.
the working model that will come out of this is the way Trump enlisted private industry to quickly build up what we needed.
4 trillion in stimulus. Not socialist. Ok.
