Anyone know if the union requested hazard pay from the company? Many companies are currently paying it.

With many deadbeats in management to support with only 8 billion in profits, just can't afford it.

But be proud of the fact that despite risking your health and life, everything that you are delivering is essential... rest assured ups wouldn't overwork you delivering things people don't in this crisis.

On a side note, I hope people are done ordering furniture for the year.

    File 9.5’s. There’s your pay.

They spent it on the "Thank you UPS workers" ad campaign.

Your center paid for a bilboard on the deserted highway. #ShelterInPlace

it’s good to know that pay raises are off the table next contract. It’s great to see so many satisfied with their pay. Vote no 2023.

A good agent grabs at opportunities for their clients. Never hurts to try.

    BadIdeaGuy Coronavirus? What coronavirus?

I had some free time after work a while back when my BA was there.
He said that it was brought up, but according to the company, the idea "was a nonstarter".

My guess would be that the company wasn't willing to budge at all, and the union didn't try all that hard.

What contractual article provides for the union to request this....and how much would it take to satisfy the membership?

  15. Well I don't know about the extra pay but the company could act like they cared a little bit

But we all know there not going to happen.

No article, just goodwill of the benevolent UPS. $3 per hour for the duration.
