UPS2012
I win no matter what
Sounds like he's a sheep to me
I like to fly under the radar.

As do I but even I know that it is falsifying to sheet a misload as NSN, especially when I know that the package is properly addressed.
I would bring the package back, hand it to the OMS and let him/her decide what to do with it.
I agree with what you are saying. I get a message that says scan it as NSN I do it. I get a message that says scan as MISSED I'll do it. Not gonna fight with management about what is right and wrong.
So, following your logic, if they tell you to jump off a bridge, you will change in to your swim trunks and go for a dip?
If it's deep enough lol. Y'all are over analyzing it.
Are we?
If we screw up we should own up to it.
What have I screwed up on?
How do you know an attempt isn't made on it after you punch out at 5PM? We have OT whores who will run misloads all night if we let them. Always send guys out to run them after they bring their pickups back. You did not sheet the misload properly. If a valid attempt is not made on the package it should be sheeted as missed.

If they are sheeting them up as NSN obviously attempts aren't being made. But not every misload gets something funny when you bring it back. We aren't allowed to use the counter board for exceptions now per the district, so sheeting it up as something funny throws up red flags.Good point.
Not really. You're willingly and knowingly falsifying records. If it's deep enough lol. Y'all are over analyzing it.
That's understandable. That's why I said if they say bring it back you bring it back. If they say sheet as nsn you say no no no.How do you know an attempt isn't made on it after you punch out at 5PM? I'm sure panel would totally understand when you tell them you like to fly under the radar though.
Ups writes your checks. The corporate company that gave the training that said sheet as missed.I'm gonna quote a driver that said, UPS writes your checks.
That's all I'm getting at. Bringing it back does not necessarily mean hiding. Could it? Sure. But there is a list of things we can do with misloads ETHICALLY before it gets to missed. Guys jump to missed because they took the DIAD training and think they are ethically superior when really they just want to nail you. That's understandable. That's why I said if they say bring it back you bring it back. If they say sheet as nsn you say no no no.
It's pretty easy if guys are actually worried about it. Write down tracking number. Check and see how it was sheeted later. That's all I'm getting at. I like when guys do that and accuse me of running them on my way home. It's pretty easy if guys are actually worried about it. Write down tracking number. Check and see how it was sheeted later.
