How are retirees billed for health care under new Western States health plan?

You have to contact the health insurance to find out when you have to start paying. You will get a bill from the health insurance company every month. I retired in May and sent them a check for the entire year. Don't miss or be late on a payment. They can drop you. My insurance did not change to the new Teamcrap insurance.

Mine is taken out monthly....make sure you set that up so they don't drop you for missing a payment..Autopay is the way to go.....Would be nice if they explained to you how to go about it when hanging it up.........

With my pension 50-55 yrs old pays $150, 55-60 pays $100, 60-65 pays $50, and after 65 pays 0 because we go under Medicare.

Not true. Maybe in some locals but not all. I get a bill in the mail from UPS to pay for healthcare. And I am in Central States.
