Why should I prove anything to anybody? I was asked to prove the increase of the TPB and once me and clutter confirmed it, tex and others still don't believe it. Cactus is such a bitter man, I could show my retiree ID and my retirement gift picture and he would claim I photo shopped them. Having credibility with a bunch of lovers like tex and Cactus is way down my list of priorities

Monthly pension amounts? I haven't even started my 2 pensions, I just know what they will be when I do. I define wealth as having enough money to do what I want WITHIN REASON and not having to worry about running out. As long as I can golf, fish, smoke weed, travel and keep a few classic cars in my garage, I consider myself wealthy. My greatest wealth is being extremely healthy for my age. As long as that holds out, having money to spend is just a bonus.

I don't recall asking people to prove anything except asking Cactus to prove he is retired. That was in response from him asking me the same. If you say I have asked someone to prove something, do me a favor and prove it. LOL

I'm glad my parents are getting that cola, and I hope my mom gets what you posted because her SS puts her below the poverty line. I give her $150 a month and my dad gives her $130. My very liberal brother who makes $65k a year and who's wife is a registered nurse and makes even more refuses to give her anything. That 15% capital gains rate is an ongoing global effort by governments to get some well deserved tax money currently being stashed in tax haven countries. Register as corporations in those countries then operate someplace else. After all since by your own admission you haven't paid FIT in years somebody has to foot the bill for income support and healthcare services for your family members. So why shouldn't they pay. Fat Freddy turned your body into the wreck it currently is in . And every 3 months I have to stroke a check for both the US Treasury as well as my state's department of revenue. So why in the hell shouldn't they be made to pay up as well?.
