How bad

Bezos owns our ass dude. Plain and simple. He’s like the most powerful public figure in the world right now. There is no leverage against a guy with unlimited monopoly money
What’s happening to Amazon in Europe right now is likely to happen here eventually. UPS should be setting themselves up to accommodate the other shippers that competes with Amazon regardless of how things unfold here. We need to cut them out off (or drop their discount) and stop refusing volume from others.

It's not just UPS against Bezos and Amazon it's all the other retailers large and small that are in this battle as well.

No matter how much monopoly money he has and what kind of delivery system gets implemented do u really think Target is going to hire and pay Amazon to pickup, transport and delivery their bath towels after first discounting the sale to customer price to be competitive with Amazon?

No way Amazon becomes a major player worldwide in delivering anything other than their own crap. That's why the time is now to drop them completely, focus on our other paying accounts and let them drown.

I don’t give Europe credit for much but they are way ahead of the game on data collection and personal privacy.

major retailers have been capped since last week.

Smartest thing UPS could have done. People tracking their packages (while they sat in the yard) and all the negative

backlash because of it, was probably the only motivating factor. Additional surcharges don't seem to discourage shippers

from sending all the oversize and irregs.... but, it's a start. That stuff is freight anyway.

Is anyone else getting these 12 Noon commit Premium service packages? I had two today but they are loaded into the truck with normal PAL labels. A pain in the ass to find 12 o clock commits that are loaded into the 5000 and 7000 shelf of a bricked out truck.

I had one yesterday. It was a bit of a surprise. Showed up in the DIAD as a delivery window from 0100-1200.

We were messaged yesterday to ignore any that pop up. I didn't have one.

OMG yes! I had one buried on my 5000 shelf in my bricked out, bulked out truck. My route starts late, so I only had about 30 minutes to swim through the truck, digging for that special package, that was a freaking GROUND package! At least load them on the 1000 shelf if they're that important.

So far so good. Surprisingly we haven't been overwhelmed yet. And this week we typically get slammed.

Not terrible so far. I was done with my work before 1900. Agreed to drive 15 min off area to help a 22.4 who was "really having a hard time." 22.4 tells me another driver is meeting him too. Figured I'd take 25 or so. Nope. When I got there I discovered the 22.4 only had 25 total deliveries left.

Our center been babying new guys like crazy for over a year now, they show up and cry when they have a 9 hour planned day. I show up and have a 10 and think, “not bad at all”. I’m used to having someone run the rest of the stuff out to me that wouldn’t fit during peak.
