Must not have been any weed on that one.
If there was, a crowd would have been nearby enjoying the aroma!
Of course, when it gets back to the hub
"Ok to drive, parts on order"

Good, old UPS did it again.

The story is missing from the tv station's website.

Of course when the driver gets back to the hub, management will be all over him.
"You had missed pickups, late business, you had too many missed deliveries, what is your excuse for failing to do the job?"
"My truck caught on fire!"
"There you go again, with your weak excuses!" "You destroyed company property as well!" "Do you realize how many claims you are costing the company, and how many customers we may lose due to your failure to do your job?"

We had a brand new truck burn down to the chassis years ago. Driver left the building, and drove for about 30 minutes to his first NDA stop. Walking back to the truck he saw lots of smoke, and just after an opening burned through the roof creating a nice updraft, the truck was fully involved.

But that wasn't as good as the one that had the entire roof blow off just like a sardine can. Driver called the on-road and said "You're not gonna believe this."

He didn't, until he saw it.

“Driver heard a hissing and then explosion”

Anyone wanna take a wager on it being a lithium battery that exploded? There’s reasons why the airlines lately have been restricting them in cargo holds and bans on laptops.

For your viewing pleasure.

And another incident that could have gone horribly bad

Apparently it happens once every ten days.

Many days I hoped for this especially at the start of the day

The quick thinking driver got his Ryobi radio out, close call !! LOL
Glad he wasn't hurt. How fast that happened is the scariest part.
