Smart orange man who believes in Christian nationalism.
Conservatives are just authoritarians on a state level who are too unpopular to get their social agenda across the lines on a federal level.
If we're the authoritarians you think we are why haven't we overthrown the country by now? You can't stand that we used the constitutional process to get what we wanted. Checkmate.

Every single politician in DC. I don’t have specifics because I don’t really care.
I’d imagine stuff like family using their office to accept bribes from foreign officials(biden), Insider trading info(basically all of congress/senate), quid pro quo getting a cut in some way or form for sending our tax dollars in a particular direction(covid 19 stimulus packages), being a team player with the private sector they are supposed to be regulating on our behalf to get a sweet gig after leaving their office behind.

I think every government in the world runs on at least a little bit of corruption.
Seems like every Politician lands on the board of some hospital, hedge fund or "non-profit" after they serve. Politics is a pipeline to untapped wealth. Hell, even Kushner and Mnuchin were able to turn their cabinet posts into tens of billions of dollars while in office.

You mean "proven"/"reliable" wealth?

That doesn't prove they made billions.
Oh, you mean Kushner and Mnuchin. They both started hedge funds within months of leaving the White House. Kushner's deal with the Prince of Saudi Arabia was worth 4 plus billion and Mnuchin's with Israel was worth 2 billion per year for a hand full of years. I forget the names of the funds, but they are newly (2020) listed with the SEC.

At the time of the article, Sen. Cantor was on the board for Moelis & Co with a salary of 2 million per year and options. A few years gets you to a billion.

You mean AFTER they left their businesses got funded billions. That's not quite the same as inexperienced Hunter starting sham businesses that he had no experience in and selling access to his dad. And pocketing millions for him and his family.

It was a coup. They stormed the capital and caused a bunch of drama over a guy who doesn’t care about them.
Do you really think a bunch of unarmed middle age guys could just take over the government? If that was so it would've been tried a long time ago. Calling it a coup and having a one sided kangaroo court doesn't make it so.
