Homo Sapiens walked this earth millions of years before the dead sea scrolls were written. Think they evolved a morality before your god supposedly appeared.

I'm not aware of any such morality millions of years ago. I am aware that they were a very violent lot where morality did not play a part .

The Neaderthals buried their dead with flowers and other artifacts which indicates there was a morality in place as far back as 30,000 to 500,000 years ago.
Morality is a natural outgrowth from a prosocial society of a species such as Homo sapiens neandertalensis, cro magnums (early homo sapiens) and of course, us, modern day Homo sapiens.

It will be fine

What about dolphins? Or other great apes?

There is a lot of debate there and we are talking about Humans is the real reason.
Chimpanzees have strong social structure and show care for other chimps (including DIDO).
I'm with you, I think some of the great apes show a sense of morality albeit much shallower than humans.

Oh yes .. in ancient writings.. in the Dead Neanderthals Scrolls.. it says .. " After you kill someone who has done nothing by bashing them in the back of the head with a big rock, to prove you are moral to the Sun God put flowers and your favorite bone necklace in the ground with the dead body." ....

How does flowers and artifacts in a grave prove morality?

Morality a natural outgrowth ? Morality evolved ? Sure.

How do you know what is natural and unnatural ? Does that knowledge come come with the outgrowth process ?

Comment is just like your brain.

You didn't delete it fast 'nuff!

Ha! Decided not to challenge you.. but I will hit this one..

Since ape morality is evolving like human morality .. Is it possible that what you are calling "shallower" than humans is much more advanced because their outgrowth is on the fast track while the human outgrowth in comparison has been much slower ??
Use your morality logic of coarse.

Chimps cannibalize their young, the females often hide themselves away during late stages of pregnancy to avoid a seconds old baby from being eaten.

So yeah I’d say chimps do share a lot of the same moralities of humans like Susan Collins who have supported partial birth abortion.

Flowers now equate to morality?

Flowers are a nice touch, but the point was that Neandrethals buried their dead.

Many thousands and thousands of years before Jesus.

Where were you born?

If you were born in America, odds are you would be some denomination of Christian.

If you were born in one of the many Muslim nations, odds are you would be a Muslim.

If you were born in Tibet, you’d probably be a Buddhist, as you might be if you were born in Korea or Japan.

If you were born in China, you might be a Confucian, or a Taoist.

If you were born in Utah, you have a higher than normal chance at being raised Mormon.

Point is, I don’t really care about your particular (we can’t explain things and we need to consolidate the tribe) version of the sky-deity.

You like Jesus? Wonderful.

I love the Bible.

If I had to choose, I’d probably go with Buddha, but even I know to take it figuratively and not literally.

Legit, there weren’t humans that lived for 800 years, and the earth is Billions of years old.

Fact.
