Flowers are a nice touch, but the point was that Neandrethals buried their dead.

Many thousands and thousands of years before Jesus.

Where were you born?

If you were born in America, odds are you would be some denomination of Christian.

If you were born in one of the many Muslim nations, odds are you would be a Muslim.

If you were born in Tibet, you’d probably be a Buddhist, as you might be if you were born in Korea or Japan.

If you were born in China, you might be a Confucian, or a Taoist.

If you were born in Utah, you have a higher than normal chance at being raised Mormon.

Point is, I don’t really care about your particular (we can’t explain things and we need to consolidate the tribe) version of the sky-deity.

You like Jesus? Wonderful.

I love the Bible.

If I had to choose, I’d probably go with Buddha, but even I know to take it figuratively and not literally.

Legit, there weren’t humans that lived for 800 years, and the earth is Billions of years old.

Fact.

Cats bury their :censored2:. Fact

burying your dead with flowers is not morality. but its understandable that you without moral foundation would think so.

Don't miss next week's exciting episode, brought to you by Head Club for Men*. Don't drag away your mate until you've hit her with one of our clubs. *Not to be used on other men except in San Francisco.

binga bong bum boomb badda da da. translated it means that since I simply cut your throat rather then skull fricking you I therefore I claim morality.

these points tend to get distracted and suddenly I see some of you trying to make some ridiculous argument that Neanderthals were moral millions of years ago when most did not understand the importance of wiping their asses much less morality.

how does an atheist who rejects the teachings of the bible profess to be moral when the bible is the foundation for morality.
now just so we don't go off on another ridiculous tangent , I'm fine with your using the Koran or whatever religious document you want to use since the point is still the same. Atheist reject religious teachings entotal.

are atheist plagerizing the concept of morality and somehow claiming it didn't come from the bible?

is this like an end around play or one of confusion where you want the best of both worlds by professing morality while rejecting morality?

Because the Bible isn't the foundation of morality.

That's just like, your opinion, man.

what is? it was one of the questions posed somewhere along the way.

what document , what teaching do atheists use as their foundation of morality that did not plagerize the teachings of the bible?

Others have expressed this, I'll throw in my two cents...

The Ten Commandments has some good ones: Don't kill, don't lie, don't steal.

The rest, I don't know, it's specific to the Old Testament, but all of this was codified way before Christianity was even an itch in Paul's pants.

Morality didn't 'come into being' with Jesus and the Bible.

I reject your premise that 'atheists' need to plagiarize anything, any document, to have a sound foundation in morality.

There are plenty of immoral Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, Atheists, etc.

Books written by men, claiming to be divine, do not equal morality.

Since morality evolved and has no document, depending on what period of time one lived in, there would be no difference in killing a person or a rat. Or, killing a new born baby with a deformed leg or a puppy with the same problem.

People will make the dumbest arguments to keep from admitting the obvious.

You need to educate yourself.
Really.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement ...

Since morality evolved and has no document, depending on what period of time one lived in, there would be no difference in killing a person or a rat. Or, killing a new born baby with a deformed leg or a puppy with the same problem.

If you disagree, please tell me what the statement needs to agree with what BA and you have been saying.

You didn't answer the question you responded too.

What does that statement need? I dunno, delete it all and try writing something that makes sense. It doesn't have much to do at all with what I was saying.

You do understand the words , agree or disagree don't you?
Do your best to write one or the other and respond and not deflect.

We established this. Contributing an opinion in another forum is not running some sub human website. Kudos on having so many of my contributions so readily available. Are you a Fed?

Bro, read what I wrote. How could you possibly not understand I don't agree with your nonsense. Seriously, lay off the sauce.

Nonsense? It is exactly what your position is, bro.
Stop talkin' out of both sides of your jaws.
When you get to the logical conclusion of what you are saying, own up to it. That way you don't look so spineless.
