Why?

A couple if Democrats have been pretty responsive to different ideas and ways the government may be able to help save multi employer pension funds. If you're in one of the plans that is in critical and declining condition it's worth researching. There are A LOT of these funds that are projected to enter this status in the coming years and if automation sweeps through labor forces as fast as some people think it could without any kind of regulation, even more funds will lose what little contributions they're currently receiving.
